Successful collaborations with government agencies, corporate partners, and research institutions have been essential in developing our innovations, which we hope contribute to transitioning to a sustainable energy future.

The central purpose of our collaborations is to offer reliable, efficient, and innovative energy solutions to target industries. We identified the needs of our partners and designed the appropriate solution to meet those needs. 

In the following, we review some cases of industry-related collaborations we are pursuing to drive innovation and accelerate the deployment of our persistent power technology as a clean energy alternative in the marketplace:

Small Satellites

Our nuclear technology promises continuous power generation which is especially critical for small satellites, given the limited amount of mass and volume available for those missions. We complement solar power by generating energy 24/7, and this energy can be used either as a secondary source or to power critical systems, such as the clock, independently.

Use of DKS's radioisotopic power in Small Satellites

We have successfully completed the design of a modular power system for 4U CubeSat with NASA and have already gained support to submit for a prototyping contract. The release of our technology will enable our power sources to reach space by 2025. Its versatility in hostile environments, high energy density, and compact form factor make it the ideal persistent power solution in outer space.


Some of our recent collaborations have proven the applicability of our persistent power technology in remote, austere, and hostile environments. We are looking to limit or eliminate hazardous maintenance operations, significantly extend the life of sensors (even decades of usefulness are possible), and potentially enhance the efficiency and range of devices for traceable logistics and missions. In particular for applications such as oil and gas and asset tracking, our radioisotopic power sources offer advantages like no other as they do not need any re-charging: they generate continuous power for years.

Use of DKS's radioisotopic power in Sensors for autonomous vehicles and IoT devices

Our nuclear power technology ensures a constant energy supply for traceability and monitoring systems on autonomous vehicles and other IoT devices requiring extended operational periods without frequent recharging.

Subsea Exploration & Monitoring

Our energy solution can potentially extend the range and endurance of underwater vehicles and submersibles, as well as enable reliable subsea sensing that’s not possible today. Our power sources are unaffected by the lack of sunlight, high pressure, and salinity of deep-sea environments, providing continuous and long-lasting power for extended periods of underwater monitoring, maintenance-free.

We will test the efficacy of our technology in subsea environments to respond to the needs of our partners looking for solutions to ensure their pipelines and cables are in optimal operating conditions.
